Add baking soda to your water:

Baking soda soothes skin inflammation, reduces itching and helps with sunburn. Put some baking soda into the cool bath water and soak for 20 minutes. You can also draw a soothing bath by adding 2-4 cups of ground oats, 1 cup of baking soda and 1 cup of evaporated milk. These ingredients fight inflammation and aid in healing.

Use white vinegar:

White vinegar contains acetic acid, which helps with pain, itching and inflammation of sunburn. Take some paper towels and soak it in vinegar and then apply those paper towels to painful areas, leave them on until they dry.
